The Carmichaels

A family that builds, in Snohomish County

Kevin Carmichael grew up a city-boy from Camden, New Jersey, and came out to Washington in his mid-twenties. He fell for the Pacific Northwest and found his calling in its building trades, learning the work across a run of construction jobs before it was ever his own.

He and Bethany married in 2020 and started taking on small remodeling projects together — for themselves, then for friends. That spark became Carmichael Carpentry in 2021, and by 2022 it was full-time work. Kevin is the hands-on general contractor; Bethany runs the office and keeps the projects moving.

Today the Carmichaels are a blended family of eleven, from infants to adults, on a small Snohomish farmhouse where they host family and friends. That same family spirit goes into every home they work on — your project is run by the people whose name is on the truck.
